About the Role
Follow the Health & Safety guidelines to ensure that the building is safe for customers and staff
Ensure that customer service is at a high standard to give customers the best experience when they come into the library
Ensure that resources are in working order and report if not
Work in collaboration with your Area Customer Services Manager to think of new initiatives for customers and staff
Become a role model where your team are able to follow your work practice
Manage, Organise and Lead Rhymetime and Storytimes.
About Us
Sutton’s Cultural Services are a part of the London Borough of Sutton. The service manages 8 libraries and 3 heritage houses. Sutton’s Cultural Services provides a year-round program of events, activities and social opportunities for all ages in Sutton's Library and Heritage Houses. Sutton’s Cultural Services maintains a high quality of service to their residents to exercise a welcoming environment.
About You
Passionate about our service and is willing to bring new ideas to engage the public
Role model the core values and lead by example for your team
Digital experience
Communicate with the appropriate stakeholders (including the Area Customer Services Manager) to maintain and a safe & secure environment
Strong IT literacy
Be a good team player and ensure your team are working in line with the Service's values
Be an ambassador for the service and promote what we do
Be very organised and clear with your communications
Must be able to lead a Rhymetime or Storytime
