Job Description - Customer Service Officer - Remote Work

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Customer Service Officer to join our team at FedEx in London, England. This is a full-time remote work position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service.


As a Customer Service Officer, your responsibilities will include:


1. Providing exceptional customer service through various channels such as phone, email, and chat. 2. Resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner. 3. Building strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. 4. Creatively solving problems and finding innovative solutions for customer needs. 5. Persuading customers to utilize FedEx services and products. 6. Handling customer complaints and escalations with professionalism and empathy. 7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction and retention. 8. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.


The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following requirements:


1. Resilient and reliable personality traits to handle challenging customer situations. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to persuade customers effectively. 3. At least 4 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a remote work setting. 4. Creativity in problem-solving and finding solutions to customer needs. 5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 6. Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer service tools. 7. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
