Job Description - Customer Services Advisor

Temporary Customer Services Advisor - Customer & Digital Services Reference no: Warwick 5249778 Pay Rate: up to £13.69 per hour PAYE depending on experience 37 Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 17:15 This opening assignment is for 2 months City: LEAMINGTON SPA Work as part of a team delivering professional customer service, using a range of communication methods, to ensure that where possible customer enquiries, and complaints are resolved at the first point of contact for electoral services, although this may extend to assisting with enquiries in relation to other Council services. The post-holder will be an integral part of a team, ensuring a positive experience for customers of all ages and maintaining excellent working relationships with all partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide information, advice and services to customers, face-to-face and on the telephone, ensuring all enquiries are resolved at first point of contact wherever possible.
  • Follow established procedures for each service request, including logging, processing and progress chasing customer enquiries using a variety of software systems whilst adhering to agreed performance objectives, and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for accepting, recording, checking applications and documentation, for electoral services.
  • Promote and support customers to self-serve and access council and partner services online in accordance with the Council’s digital transformation agenda.
  • Undertake general administration duties that help and support other Service areas.
