Job Description - Digital Coordinator

About the role This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a small team of creative, passionate foodie lovers and be part of a pioneering sustainable business. Packaging is core to Daylesford’s values on sustainability. The Packaging Coordinator’s role involves sourcing the right packaging for the right product, managing and maintaining the supply and launch of our products. Responsibilities; Support the NPD team on all aspects of current projects Liaise between stakeholders, coordinate critical paths and facilitate artwork flow to keep all projects on track and hit print deadlines Attend regular progress meetings, report back on allocated tasks, flag issues, suggest solutions, and collate minutes Manage packaging trackers; know where artworks, print and orders are always Proof-reading and QC of printer proofs versus artwork Assist with and organise print and packaging trials if required Support with sourcing packaging for NPD launches to hit the brief, brand standards and critical path Cost up new packaging and repeat orders. Carry out cost analysis and negotiation where necessary to achieve targets. Place POs and see through to delivery. Identify cost and labour savings for existing packaging formats. Support on seeking out and researching new sustainable and innovative packaging; attend local trade shows and research online forums System maintenance, keeping packaging SKUs and POs accurate Update and maintain a library of packaging samples (physical and photographic) Support with logistics of supplier packaging handovers ensuring all paperwork complete and shared in advance of meetings, meetings attended and minuted and follow ups managed speedily. For every product launch particularly Christmas, create photographic packaging specs detailing all elements of packaging to ensure the product is packed accurately. Skills you will bring; Proven experience working within a ‘foodie’ role (NPD, Food Production, Kitchen or similar). A passion for food and a keen interest in sustainability. Self-starter who can work autonomously on key tasks Good time management and problem-solving skills Commercially aware and a keen eye for detail. ***This role could suit a recent graduate from anything food related, supply chain, manufacturing or similar. This role will require you to be in the office 5 days per week.
