Job Description - Customer Support Officer - Work from home

Job Description:


American Family Insurance Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Customer Support Officer to join our team in a work from home capacity in London, England. As an Associate Level Customer Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients while working independently in a virtual setting.


Responsibilities: - Handle inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat - Assist customers with insurance policy inquiries, claims processing, and general support - Utilize creative problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and provide effective solutions - Communicate with customers in a professional and empathetic manner - Document all customer interactions and update relevant information in the company database - Collaborate with team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Meet and exceed performance metrics and quality standards set by the company


Requirements: - Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer support or a related field - Confident and independent personality with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment - Strong communication skills with a focus on active listening and clear, concise verbal and written communication - Creative problem-solving abilities to navigate complex customer inquiries and situations - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently - Proficiency in using customer service software and tools - High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
