Job Description - Web Chat Representative

We are currently seeking a reliable and driven Web Chat Representative to join our team at Nationwide in London, England, UK. This is an entry level position with the opportunity for growth within the company.


Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers via web chat to provide support, answer questions, and assist with any inquiries. 2. Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service. 3. Utilize company resources and knowledge base to accurately address customer concerns and provide solutions. 4. Escalate any issues or concerns to the appropriate departments for further assistance. 5. Meet established performance metrics for response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate. 6. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and improve overall efficiency. 7. Maintain a positive attitude and uphold the company's values and mission in all interactions with customers.


Requirements: 1. Associate's degree or higher. 2. 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. 3. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to type quickly and accurately. 4. Strong people management skills and the ability to multitask effectively. 5. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 6. Ability to adapt to new technology and software systems quickly. 7. Knowledge of basic computer skills and familiarity with web chat platforms.
