Service Delivery Technician

We are recruiting for a motivated individual to join our dynamic and customer focused team. As an IT Technician within our EUS Support Team you will play a crucial role in supporting the Universities information technology and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation for Staff and Students.

This is a varied, busy, and exciting role within a growing and supportive team. This role will offer the successful applicant exposure to a wide variety of market leading systems and tools, provide an environment to learn and grow and contribute to our vibrant University.

Within the University, Digital & Technology Services provide IT services and facilities for the University of Dundee across all campuses. The directorate is made up of varied and skilled teams to ensure smooth running and development of IT services across the University.

Your priorities will include:

• Provide technical support to University staff and students both in-person and remotely. Resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues alongside routine maintenance.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripheral devices (Windows, MacOS, IOS and Android).
• Work as part of our existing team to ensure that issues are troubleshooted and resolved in a timely manner.
• Ensure that tickets in our service management tool are kept up to date.
• To contribute to the effective delivery of significant IT provision to ensure the smooth running of key university events (matriculation, exam diet, clearing, conferences) as required.
