Job Description - Service Manager - Car Dealership

Job Title: Service Manager – Car Dealership

Location: Watford, WD18 8TF

Salary: Basic Salary Circa £40,000 + Bonus – OTE Circa £60,000 + Car

Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing dealer groups representing a number of well respected and popular brands across dealerships in London, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Suffolk and Essex.

They are currently looking for an engaging and highly motivated Service Manager to join our team in their Watford dealership.

What you’ll do

The Service Manager will be leading a team of Service staff. You will undoubtedly be an experienced people manager with a passion for building excellent customer satisfaction whilst driving forward profitable business expansion. As a customer-focused manager, you will inspire your team to provide the best possible services for the customer whilst ensuring the Company profit targets are achieved. You will be able to enhance the current team by providing support, coaching and motivation to them.

Your experience

To be successful in this role you will have a great eagerness to learn and passion for the Automotive sector. For this role you must have the following: -

  • More than 2 years of experience as a Service Manager in the automotive industry
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of FCA standards, consumer legislation and trade practices.
  • Financially astute with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels combined with an eye for detail and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Full and Valid UK driving licence
