Job Description - Director of Education

Prosperity Children’s Services are opening a new independent school, which will provide education for pupils aged 5 to 16 years, who have a range of needs, difficulties, and talents. There will be a lot of challenges and rewards as we help pupils to have a more positive experience of education. With the right resources we know we will help pupils to succeed. We already have amazing school buildings, but we know that the best resource of all, is our staff team.

We are looking for an inspirational Director of Education that has a strong desire to lead and grow the education division for Prosperity Children’s Services with our vision of ‘Dream, Believe, Achieve’ for all.

Requirements for the role:

Previous experience as an executive head teacher or external school improvement partner desirable.
In depth knowledge of the role of a head teacher
Excellent track record in business development and relationship building with stakeholders.
Excellent data analysis skills, financial planning, and development of business plans
Good Knowledge of ISS and effective curriculum models
Strong inspirational leader to act as a role model for pupils and staff.
Ability to challenge underperformance and raise expectations of both staff and pupils.
Identifying new opportunities for lasting new schools, alternative solutions to tutor and education children and young people with special educational needs.
Hold QTS Status

Pay: £70,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
