Education Welfare Officer Liverpool £Education Welfare Officer Responsibilities: Monitoring and Consultation: Implement a program for regular monitoring of school attendance. Consider various actions and alternatives, recommending implementation based on relevant legislation and DfE guideline. Develop in-school programs to enhance the attendance of individual pupils. These programs may include gradual reintegration through part-time timetables, in-school meetings with Progress Leaders, and facilitating support groups for problematic attendees. Advise and support schools in implementing School Attendance Regulations. Utilize attendance statistics for effective monitoring and management of school attendance. Maintain a working knowledge of relevant Education and Child Care Legislation.
