Job Description - Engineering Teacher

Engineering Teacher Location: Medway Salary:£120 - £240 per day Start Date: September 2024 Contract: Long-term, Full-time GSL Education have an exciting opportunity for a talented Engineering Teacher to join a dynamic school in Medway. This role offers the chance to inspire and educate students in the fascinating field of engineering. As an Engineering Teacher , you will deliver engaging and interactive lessons that introduce students to the principles of engineering and inspire them to pursue further study and careers in the field. You will have the opportunity to work with motivated students and contribute to their academic and personal development. Engineering Teacher Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cover key concepts in engineering, using a variety of teaching strategies to engage students.
* Provide practical hands-on learning experiences that allow students to explore engineering principles through experimentation and problem-solving.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their learning journey.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development and attainment.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate engineering concepts into other subjects.
* Stay informed about developments in engineering education and industry trends, and incorporate relevant updates into your teaching practice. Requirements for the successful Engineering Teacher : * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching engineering or related subjects at the secondary level, with a track record of achieving positive student outcomes.
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for engineering education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
