We are seeking an inspirational and experienced Head of Physical Education to lead our dynamic PE department. The successful candidate will be passionate about physical education and sports, capable of delivering high-quality teaching, and enthusiastic about driving forward the strategic vision of the PE curriculum. Lead, manage, and develop the PE department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop and implement an innovative and balanced PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle. Organize and oversee extracurricular sports activities, clubs, and school teams. Manage departmental resources, including equipment and facilities, to support effective teaching and learning. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall leadership and management of the school. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in Physical Education or a related field. Proven experience in teaching PE at the secondary school level, with a track record of outstanding results. Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum and current educational best practices.
