Head of Education Quality

Are you an experienced Lead Educator looking for work in Nottingham?

Winner Education are seeking a Head of Education Quality to work with a school who provide independent special educational needs placements and are market leaders in alternative provision in the midlands area. This role is a full–time, permanent position to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate would have previous experience of curriculum design, SENCO or has provided education consultancy support to schools.

SALARY: Up to GBP48,000

LOCATION: East Midlands working across multiple sites in the East Midlands

HOURS: Full time (Monday Friday), 37.5 hours per week term time only

START DATE: ASAP

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the schools
• Take a strategic lead alongside the Head of Schools and Governors to ensure the quality of education is effective across the schools
• Ensure all pupils access high quality teaching and learning through bespoke individualised curriculums across KS2 and KS3
• Lead and manage a team of staff across multiple sites
• Management of human and financial resources
• Manage expenditure within the agreed budget
• Regular reports to the Head of Schools and Governors
• Monitor and review the range, quality and quantity of resources to improve learners quality of education
• Develop positive relationships with parents and carers
• Lead the development, monitoring and improvement of the schools quality assurance systems and processes

The successful Head of Education Quality must:

• Be flexible and innovative
• Show extensive knowledge of statutory education frameworks, curriculum models and teaching practices
• Previous experience in designing and developing curriculums
• Have at least 3 years school leadership experience
• Must have a QTS status
• Hold a full UK driving licence due to traveling between sites will be required
• Hold key values and ethos of Trust, Innovation and Achievement
