Job Description - Higher Education Student Support and Experience Manager

Salary: £33,307 - £38,019 per annum Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Permanent. Location: Paignton, Devon Could you be our Higher Education Student Support and Experience Manager? We are seeking someone to lead the University Centre South Devon (UCSD) Higher Education (HE) Student Hub team in the provision of student support with a focus on academic and employability skills support, wellbeing and disability support. You will support student outcomes and enhancing the student experience through provision of proactive support and intervention throughout the HE student lifecycle. Work collaboratively with the Dean of Higher Education Quality to develop and implement the College’s plan of activity relating to access and participation, including the development and evaluation of initiatives designed to support in ensuring equality of opportunity for students accessing Higher Education provision at UCSD, as well as their outcomes while studying with us, and future progression opportunities. Collaborate with the College’s Heads of Tutorial to design an annual schedule of tutorial activity for HE students and support HE Tutors in its implementation. Ensure alignment of policy and process for supporting University of Plymouth. Undertake key projects to develop and enhance the HE Student Experience, including a focus on the educational gain of students studying at UCSD.
