Streatham & Clapham High School seeks to appoint an energetic, talented, and innovative full-time teacher of Physical Education to inspire students and to foster a love of sports.
This role could suit either an experienced teacher or someone early in their career. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and well-qualified, with a real love for both sport and for teaching, and the ability to convey this to all their pupils. The ability to motivate and inspire is vital, as is being able to work as part of a strong team. An interest in coaching football would be of particular interest with some experience of teaching hockey, netball and cricket.
You will be required to teach the subject throughout KS3-5 and up to A level and will also be expected to make an appropriate contribution to the co-curricular life of the Sports Department, for instance training sessions before and after school, fixtures/competitions; some Saturday events, including fixtures/competitions and training sessions; and occasional weekend events.
