Welsh Medium Education Promotion Officer

The opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a new project under the auspices of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol to promote the Welsh language and to encourage and support Cardiff Metropolitan University students to study through the medium of Welsh. The officer's main responsibility will be to implement plans and interventions to increase the percentage of students with Welsh language skills who choose to study through Welsh. The work will require building close relationships with students and working closely with staff who are responsible for planning, promoting and maintaining the Welsh language provision. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about the development of Welsh language education, an organised administrator with a creative mind, and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
