The company is experiencing ongoing growth and success within their markets. The role will require you to produce design schemes, assembly drawings and parts lists for a range of machinery. You will be responsible for all mechanical aspects of projects as well as providing technical guidance to customers. The Role: · Mechanical design works for customer projects. · Attend customer specification meetings, providing a creative and authoritative contribution. · Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery. · Aid in the assembly and commissioning of packaging machinery. The Person: · Mechanical Engineering Degree (Minimum HNC) · Design engineering experience in capital equipment, within the packaging industry would be advantageous. · 3D modelling skills using Solid Works or Inventor. · Experience in design of electro-mechanical mechanisms and equipment. · Understanding of Servo Motion technology and product handling equipment.
