Job Description - Admin Locality Lead

Admin Locality Lead Location Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust : I f you are looking for a new opportunity and thrive on a new challenge an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient department . This role and gives you the opportunity to take a key part in developing and shaping of how we effectively run the department. The role is responsible for supervising and managing the Bracknell administration team This post is suitable for someone who can coordinate work effectively and provide support, motivation, and guidance to other team members. In this role you will need to have good customer service skills and the ability to multitask. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritise and organise a varied workload . If you also thrive on variety this is a role you should consider as you will have to travel to other site s when the need arises in the Bracknell, Slough and Maidenhead/Windsor area. ; y ou will receive generous mileage allowance to facilitate this element of the role. You will be joining a T rust which has been rated by the CQC as “Outstanding for Care” a Trust who invests in staff and looks to provide them with ongoing training and personal development. This is a rewarding role, working alongside a committed and friendly team, in a continuously evolving service where you will have daily interaction with patients, administration colleagues and clinical staff. Line management of the Bracknell administration team including rota management and recruitment Responsible for overseeing prompt completion of administration functions such as appointment bookings, clinic letter management , emails, telephone calls and queries from physiotherapist team. Ensure targets and service level agreements are met to support the clinical provision To be responsible for the efficient running of the administration service for the Bracknell physiotherapy department Take responsibility for digital referral man agement and new patient bookings Lia ise with necessary services to support and assist patients as needed, ie Interpreting Service. Be the first point of contact for welcoming patients and visitors attending the physiotherapy outpatient department Collect data and statistics to aid management in guiding the service direction. Work flexibly in response to the needs of the patients, service, and physiotherapists Supporting colleagues to deliver a high quality , effective and compassionate service both virtually and in person Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a specialist mental health and community health services trust. Good keyboard skills and the ability to use IT packages such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
