This is a popular restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and cakes all made from fresh ingredients.


As the Chef you‘ll create a lovely selection of different menu items. You‘ll be able to put your skills to good use creating tasty dishes, as well as amazing cakes. You will enjoy working with and receiving assistance from the team who will help you make and deliver meals to customers promptly.


The Chef role includes:
*Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
*Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
*Assisting with the management of health and safety
*Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
*Managing and training junior staff
*Monitoring portion and waste control
*Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
*Ensure all areas of the kitchen and storage areas are clean and ready for use.
*Coordinate food purchasing, budgeting and planning operations with other staff members


Hours:
The Chef position is contracted as 40 hours per week, daytime shifts from 8am - 4pm and includes one shift at the weekend.


Salary:
This position offers a salary of up to £29K plus tips and benefits.
