Pastry Chef for Bakery

Eusebi's are currently looking for a pastry chef for their offsite bakery .

Due to expansion plans, we have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and passionate chef who wishes to be part of a growing and exciting business, working out of a brand-new site.

We currently produce all of our desserts , pastries and sourdough focaccia for our award winning restaurant and deli . The growth of our business has created a position where the successful candidate will be working out of a brand new, state of the art bakery, and under a very passionate head pastry chef from a strong hospitality background.

To be successful in this role you must have at least 3 years experience

Hours are 45 per week. The bakery operates on a 7 day basis . Current shift patterns are over 5 days

( 5am -2 pm )

We are looking for candidates who have

• High level of practical and technical pastry knowledge
• Passionate about artisanal crafts
• Previous or current culinary qualifications
• Are able to work to tight deadlines and keep calm under pressure
• Solid understanding of costings and waste prevention without sacrificing quality
• Ensure quality standards and consistency are adhered
• Proven experience within a quality hotel/restaurant bakery team or artisan bakery

Qualifications

• 3 + proven years experience in a pastry team
• Qualification/ degree from a post-secondary culinary training program preferred
• You must have ambition to be the best

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
