Restaurant Manager / General Manager

Job Description JSW Recruitment are looking for an exceptional General Manager for a brand NEW opening of a high volume full table service restaurant with coffee shop, deli and farm shop in a superb setting. This is Permanent role but will give some work life balance as the Restaurant will be a daytime operation, your evenings will be free! The role is paying up to £50,000pa depending on experience. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the smooth day to day running of the restaurant, coffee shop and customer dining experience. As a key member of the senior management, you are required to be a driving force of the business, a welcoming and recognisable face for all customers and to motivate and train your team to deliver excellent customer service. This is part of a branded chain so ideally you will have 3 years+ of managing large single and or multi-site branded restaurants and will be used to driving a large team both front and back of house to deliver excellent customer service and brand standards. Some multi-site experience would be useful given the different areas of the business to manage. It is essential that you have some strong commercial and analytical skills as you will be responsible for all aspects of finance in the restaurant, including sales, gross profit, stock control, staff wages and controllable expenditure. We are looking for an excellent people manager with a team focus who can identify and monitor the training needs of the team and take an active role in developing and coaching people. You will need to be extremely well organised and be able to work under considerable pressure every day with multiple guests requiring exceptional service throughout the day.
