An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Manager at the Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham with 148 bedrooms, 6 Meeting and Events rooms, plus our Townfield Bar and Restaurant, this is a 24/7 property where you will never be bored. We pride ourselves on offering training and development to our team and we can do this not only at Cresta Court Hotel but also across our whole group of Vine Hotels properties. This is an ideal venue for a wide range of conference, banqueting and celebrations and a busy local food and beverage operation.

We are looking for a confident Restaurant Manager to run our Townfield‘s restaurant & bar. We are looking for someone with bags of personality, a fantastic attention to detail that enjoys delivering a first class customer experience.

The ideal candidate for the Restaurant Manager position must have held a similar role previously.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this is a challenging hands-on role within a fast moving environment that offers good career opportunities for the right person

What will you be doing:

• Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef
• Coordinate the operation of the Townfield‘s Restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team
• Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
• Respond to customer queries and complaints
• Meet and greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
• Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare for the weeks ahead.
• Comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements.

About your experience:

• Previous and proven experience at a management level within the hospitality industry
• Good knowledge of the town especially within the industry
• Strong leadership within the restaurant industry
