Job Description - Senior Sous Chef Restaurant

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Bartley Lodge Hotelin Cadnam. You will join us on a 45 hour a week permanent basis and in return, you will receive a salary of up to £32,000 per annum, plus service charge. What we’re looking for in our ideal Senior Sous Chef:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Sous Chef role at multi-sites or in a busy quality kitchen environment or experience as a Head Chef of a smaller kitchen
  • Availability to work 45 hours per week on a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and during busy holiday periods
  • GCSE (or equivalent qualification) in Maths and English
  • Q Level 2 – Professional Cookery (or equivalent apprenticeship)
  • Q Level 2 Pastry (or equivalent)
  • Minimum Level 2 Food Safety Certificate (Level 3 is preferable)
  • An understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Procure Wizard (not essential, training will be given)
