Job Description - Training Restaurant Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at one of our sites in Birmingham, B4.Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout. Working 40 hours per week on a rota basis. We can offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate. To service client meeting rooms, assisting with delivery working lunches, formal and informal buffets. Consistently maintaining a high standard of service and presentation of teas, coffees, snacks, working lunches, buffets and formal functions. Demonstrate and train to team excellent customer care skills. Food and service All drinks fridges to be checked – presenting fresh chilled water at appropriate times or when refreshing client with beverages. To liaise and communicate with the Chef Manager to enable efficient and effective running of hospitality service. To be willing to undertake any training to enhance the role as necessary. To develop team members and ensure they are operating within all health and safety and food safety guidelines. Ensure all food safety paperwork is completed and filed correctly. Administration and policy. To ensure the hospitality kitchen and storage area are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness. To ensure correct stock rotation and food storage procedures. Where required to take temperatures of equipment and / or food and record. and use the correct chemicals. To ensure all hygiene and cleaning procedures are adhered to. To assist with any other duties as required by the Unit Manager. Train and maintain cellar training for all Food and Beverage assistances. Complete annual training sessions with the team; front of house, conference services and bar. To report any customer complaints and take some remedial action if possible. To report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate or possible. To inspire the hospitality team, conduct staff meetings and appraisals.
