Full-time cross-site Clinical Specialist Sonographer – Radiology Department (Base-site either from Conquest Hospital or from Eastbourne District General Hospital) East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides a high quality and comprehensive range of Ultrasound services throughout the County of East Sussex from 3 locations (Conquest Hospital Hastings, Eastbourne District General Hospital and Bexhill Hospital). The department has recently benefitted from the installation of eight new state-of-the-art ultrasound systems. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a clinical Specialist Sonographer. You should have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience and be able to perform a comprehensive range of examinations including general abdominal, obstetrics (including Nuchal Translucency scanning) and gynaecology examinations. In addition to this, you should have specialist Ultrasound skills in paediatric, vascular, small parts, breast, MSK or head and neck Ultrasound. Experience in clinical teaching/mentorship and managerial skills are advantageous. You will be expected to work independently and issue your own reports. CPD is actively encouraged. You will need:
• A recognised Ultrasound Qualification (e.g. DMU / Pg Dip / MSc )
