An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team in providing a medical equipment management, maintenance, repair and support service for the Trust and other healthcare providers in the area. You will be a skilled and self-motivated engineer, educated to HNC level in a suitable engineering subject with proven experience of working unsupervised. You will be able to demonstrate the desire to continue your professional development through internal and external training courses. Some knowledge of quality management would be an advantage, as we work to a registered quality assurance system (BS EN ISO 9001:2015) You will be expected to work on a number of sites, so a driving licence is an advantage but not essential. Main duties include the repair, calibration, planned maintenance, commissioning and disposal of a wide range of medical equipment. Liaising with and providing advice and support to users of medical equipment . To work on medical equipment that may require precision engineering techniques, expertise and fine control of fine tools and small components.
