We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at HMP Dovegate , a category B Prison located in Uttoxeter

Salary

This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £27195 per annum - depending on experience. Part time considered.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

What you'll be doing

As a Healthcare Assistant , your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. You will contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics.

Qualifications required

  • Evidence of CPD
  • NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good IT skills and IT literacy

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
