Configuration Engineer (Bill of Materials) Severn Beach, Bristol £40,000 - £46,000 + Hybrid role (3 days in the office 2 days from home after settling in period) + 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays + Private Healthcare + Share Incentive Plan + Group Pension Plan + Flexible Benefits Leading Manufacturer of high technology equipment are seeking an engineer with direct experience of developing and implementing Bill of Materials that support the go-live of their new ERP system. You will have strong decision-making skills lead by data gathering and possess experience in operational planning. The Role The Configuration Engineer will develop Manufacturing Bill of Materials (M-BOM) for use in conjunction with the company’s new data collection system and managing the operations following the go-live of the systems. You will apply policies and strategies to support planning of the order time, build and engineering time and purchasing time. Key to the role is supporting and championing the company’s lean manufacturing and value stream strategy to operative a cost-effective build and supply process. The Configuration Engineer will also play a key role in the development of rules to aid in the automation of processes. The Person Strong background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations. Ideally with a Technical qualification, (Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent) though not essential. Data Management experience Full comprehension of Bill of Material within Manufacturing, including costings
