Job Description - HealthCare Office Manager

The post holder will be responsible for providing leadership to the Transplant clerical team supporting the day to day operations. This is an exciting time to join the team and the post holder will play a key role in organising the service in preparation for the move into the new hospital. The post holder will be required to work across all hospital sites. The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of office management and assisting in the management and supervision of medical secretary staff within the department. The post holder must have an in-depth knowledge of RTT and Cancer Waiting Time Standards. Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust. The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience. The Trust runs Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, Liverpool University Dental Hospital and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. RSA level 3 or equivalent NVQ Level 3 Business Administration/equivalent Introduction and Intermediate Level Word, Excel and Access Certificates Extensive experience administrative / clerical gained in a busy office environment Experience of using Hospital IT systems Recent experience to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access Finance Management - Knowledge of NHS budgetary / financial procedures. Knowledge of budgetary / financial systems Understanding of the requirements of Data Protection and Patient Confidentiality Ability to undertake training of Admin Staff within the department Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Royal Liverpool Hospital site
