YOUR ARE...

As Hotel Accounts Payable, you'll be a part of the Lodging Division and support the day-to-day accounting operations. You'll be assigned properties as well as perform a variety of accounting, administrative and organizational tasks for the accounting department. This position will report to the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input invoices daily.
  • Review records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts
  • Print and distribute checks per Controller, Assistant Controller and Hotel Accountant.
  • Respond to all inquiries within a 24 hour window.
  • Develop and implement proper keeping of financial records, making use of current technologies.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that the team members can locate resources and products as needed.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Provide administrative support to Controller and Assistant Controller.
  • Provide assistance to Controller, Assistant Controller and Hotel Accountant as needed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls if needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the Controller and Assistant Controller by anticipating needs and supplies for day to day operations.
  • Follows The Indigo Road’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, QuickBooks, and M3.
  • Flexible to work nights and weekends when necessary, based on business and staffing needs.
