Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Operations Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of events, from intimate gatherings such as wedding proposals or private in room dining to grand celebrations. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of event operations, ensuring that each occasion reflects the highest standards of excellence and hospitality. Key Responsibilities: -Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of all events, including weddings, corporate meetings, private parties, and special functions.
-Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, providing expert guidance and support throughout the planning and delivery process.
-Manage and lead the events operations team, ensuring staff are well-trained, motivated, and delivering outstanding service.
-Produce performance reviews and compile work rota.
-Coordinate with various departments (e.g., catering, housekeeping, maintenance) to ensure smooth event operations.
-Take stock of the department stock and ordering.
-Log guest information and conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and implement improvements.
-Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.
-Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors to enhance the overall guest experience.
-Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continually improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Qualifications: -Proven experience in event management delivery preferably within a luxury hotel or similar high-end venue from a food and beverage perspective.
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
-Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
-Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
