Electrical Engineer Electrical Design Engineer

Role: Electrical Design Engineer Operating for over 45 years, my client provides complete Mechanical and Electrical services across all sectors of the construction industry including Industrial, Logistics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Mining, Healthcare, Commercial, Hotel & Leisure, High-End Residential, Public, and Energy. A Deloitte Best Managed Company Award winner for eight years running, we pride ourselves on being a full building services solutions provider and have successfully delivered multiple large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK & mainland Europe. As the successful Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering electrical designs to facilitate safe and compliant installations on site. Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report.

• Attend Design team meetings.
• Carry out site surveys of existing installations.
• Detail electrical schematics for build.
• Source and procurement of electrical components for designs
• Create test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs.
• Liaise with customers & suppliers, meeting project delivery deadlines.
• Produce detailed design briefs, the basis of designs and survey reports.
• Previous, relevant experience, gained in the Electrical Engineering field
• Qualification in Engineering or related area
