Housekeeper - Windermere

We are currently seeking to recruit a Housekeeper to work in Windermere. Full time hours, working 40 hours per week. £11.50 per hour

Cleaning Guest Rooms:

• Make beds and change linens.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Clean bathrooms, including toilets, showers, bathtubs, and sinks.
• Replenish bathroom supplies such as towels, toiletries, and tissue.

Public Area Maintenance:

• Clean and maintain the lobby, hallways, elevators, and other public areas.
• Polish and dust fixtures and furniture in public spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in hotel restrooms.

Laundry Services:

• Collect dirty linens, towels, and laundry from rooms and public areas.
• Operate washing machines and dryers.
• Fold and store clean linens and towels.

Inventory and Stocking:

• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies.
• Report any supply shortages to the supervisor.

Reporting and Communication:

• Report any damages or maintenance issues to the maintenance department.
• Report lost and found items to the front desk.
• Communicate any guest requests or special needs to the front desk or management.

Guest Interaction:

• Greet guests politely and courteously.
• Respond to guest inquiries and fulfill special requests.

Safety and Sanitation:

• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely.
• Follow hotel policies for handling biohazard materials and hazardous waste.
