Job Description - INTERNAL Sales Executive

About the role…

You’ll organise, from start to finish, all client meetings and events, ensuring their experience is memorable. You will create bespoke quotes and respond to all enquires that are given to you by the M&E Sales Office Manager. You will deliver to the brand standard timeframes comply with company policy in responding to said clients. You will be given targets for revenue and conversion and arrange all site visits and deliver outstanding face to face appointments. You will create a rapport with all clients to ensure repeat custom is delivered while always looking to convert lead opportunities to grow the business.

About you…

  • Previous sales experience in a large hotel/ conference venue and experience of systems DEPHI or Opera, with a passion for sales and strong desire to exceed. Experience in MICE sales preferable
  • Ability to deal with sales leads in a professional, organised and timely manner.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbally and have a confident telephone manner. You’ll need to be a good co-operator with a professional, warm, trusting and friendly approach, reacting to change in a positive way.
  • Ability to build and maintain long lasting relationships with existing and new clients
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasks
  • High attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing one’s own time
  • Great team working skills whilst being comfortable and able to work alone, an effective team player with a positive attitude.
