Senior Sous Chef

Sous Chef Daytime Hours only

C&N Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for a 4* hotel based just outside Welwyn Garden City.

This role is mostly day-time hours and weekends meaning minimal evenings. Some evenings will be involved covering other kitchens or very busy periods. Perfect role for a good-work life balance.

The role involves preparing fresh breakfast and brunch items along with British classics.

You will be:

• Assisting the executive chef with the running of the department, planning, ordering and preparing.
• Monitoring rotas
• Assisting in other kitchens if required.
• Managing the team in the absence of the executive chef.

You:

We are looking for someone that is highly organised.

Have worked in a restaurant environment previously.

Good communicator with high standards

Able to lead a small team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way
