The postholder reporting to the Chief People Officer will be responsible for developing and leading the provision of a strategic, professional and business focussed Human Resources service to the organisation. This senior role will deputise for the Chief People Officer across a broad range of the Executive portfolio, both internally and externally and will lead on all employee relations matters. Applicants must be CIPD qualified and hold a Master’s Degree or equivalent professional experience. A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate significant experience of delivering effective HR Services within a complex organisation and be equipped to manage the most complex of employee relations issues. · Provide information and expert advice and support to Directorates and Divisions across the organisation in order to facilitate the development and management of staff and the modernisation of services, ensuring that they are consistent with national Best Practice initiatives and legislation and agreed local and nationalHuman Resources, Workforce Planning and Workforce Development strategies. · Provide guidance, leadership, training and coaching to and develop skills and competencies of theHuman Resourcesteam to ensure the consistent delivery of a high quality service through the provision of professional updates and information. · Evaluate and inform the Trust wideHuman Resourcesteam about the latest research and developments in employee relations, pay and conditions of service, employment law, workforce development and training.
