Job Description - Delivery Manager

Your new role

  • Oversee budgets, deadlines, and quality across various projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with essential business personnel.
  • Collaborate with the CDT Project Lead to select the best methods and documentation for each project, such as user stories, project plans, and more.
  • Maintain JIRA and Confluence usage according to our standards, including keeping JIRA boards updated and generating reports for each project.
  • Collect requirements, create briefs, and write user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with clients and account managers to organise and execute tasks.
  • Identify and address challenges, guiding the team to navigate or resolve them.
  • Prioritise tasks to direct the team's focus on client success.
  • Enhance your project management abilities and align with our commitment to diligence and excellence.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Skilled at identifying and applying various delivery methods; knows when to raise concerns.
  • Understands financial implications, budget creation, and scoping work; ensures accurate weekly reports and monitors project finances.
  • Capable of clear communication with all stakeholders and facilitating multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Recognises the significance of planning and forecasting; communicates plans and progress effectively.
  • Determines optimal processes for the team, monitors compliance, and addresses non-conformance.
  • Assumes responsibility for resolving issues in collaboration with the team or CDT Project Lead.
  • Comprehends project phases, plans and maintains progress, and manages risks and dependencies.
  • Inspires and guides the team, provides constructive feedback, and handles or escalates issues as needed.
