We are recruiting for a Deputy Resourcing Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

As the Deputy Resourcing Manager, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the team delivers an efficient and proactive service to managers, employees, and prospective candidates. You will also be responsible for developing, engaging, and motivating Resourcing team members to consistently provide high-quality service. Your role requires expertise and the ability to work across all key areas of responsibility within both teams to ensure effective cross-coverage when needed.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be key in ensuring that resourcing activities that are innovative, forward thinking and are delivered in line with best practice and legislation.

Ideally you will have some recruitment/resourcing experience, line management experience and have knowledge of our recruitment system, TRAC, or a similar system, you'll be familiar with recruitment processes and best practice in this area.

You will have great customer service skills, with a passion to providing both managers and applicants a great recruitment experience in an innovative way. This post is a key role in the management and successful delivery of the Resourcing strategy within the Trust, under the four key principles of building a professional reputation, innovative recruitment solutions, operational efficiencies and team functionality, and retention. You will have freedom to act within the framework of existing policies and procedures, using your own initiative and taking advice when required.

Person specification

Qualifications/Training

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a HR/Resourcing related field
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent level or relevant experience

Previous Experience

  • Relevant experience in a high-volume resourcing environment
  • Experience of Health Education Recruitment campaigns
  • NHS Experience

Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and non-verbal communication)
  • Demonstrable customer service skills

Knowledge

  • Understands and practices the principles of confidentiality.
  • TRAC recruitment system or similar recruitment/HR system
  • Payroll and other related systems

Other requirements

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Experience and evidence of engagement around equality, diversity and inclusion issues in relation to policy, service development and service delivery in respect of both services to users and the management of staff
