Job Description - Group Finance Manager

Sewell Wallis are recruiting for a PE backed business in Harrogate who a recruiting for a Group Finance Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified Accountant to be part of the senior leadership team where you will be also be involved in both strategic and commercial activities across the Group.

What will you be doing?

  • Overseeing the day to day running of the Finance team.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Support the Managing Director on all budgeting and forecasting plans and in developing strategic plans.
  • Producing statutory accounts.
  • Commercial reporting and analysis.
  • Supporting in the weekly trading reporting of commercial performance.
  • Preparing VAT returns.
  • Liaising with the auditors.
  • Ad hoc project work.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Fully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA / CIMA / ACCA.
  • Adaptable and tenacious with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong IT skills.
