As part of their growth strategy, we are assisting them in recruiting a talented HR Advisor to support the people strategy for the business.
Position Overview
As the People Advisor you will play a pivotal part in the People Team supporting the delivery of our 3-Year Strategy. You will have a solid knowledge of employment law as you will be responsible for providing comprehensive ER support to the Managers across the network.
You will be passionate about creating a Great Place to Work for all the teams across the business and will have an active involvement in our projects to drive engagement levels.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance management.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
- Provide guidance to managers on setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
- Support the administration of employee performance reviews and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a HR advisory role, with a strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
- You will have experience of working on multiple caseloads at any one time with a proven track record of providing sound resolution to ER cases
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
