Job Description
We are currently working with a Public Sector Organisation in Herefordshire who are looking for a HR Advisor to join the team on a permanent basis.
The role is 37 hours full time, offers a competitive salary and hybrid working.
Our client is looking for candidates with strong employee relations case management and trade union experience, as well as access to their own vehicle with a full UK Driving Licence as there will be travel to various sites across the Herefordshire area required.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a caseload of complex employee relations cases, including safeguarding issues, disciplinaries, performance, redundancy, grievances and absence
- Advising stakeholders on HR queries, including policies, processes, terms and conditions
- Building relationships with stakeholders to coach and guide them on all HR services
- Continuously developing HR policies, ensuring they are fit for purpose and are in line with legislative changes, and HR best practice
- Liasing with trade union representatives
- Supporting with change management programmes, including TUPE, restructures and redundancies
Experience required:
- UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
- Strong employee relations case management
- Previous experience working in schools (desirable)
