Human Resources Director

HR Manager Location: Mainly Remote (UK Based) with in-person meetings, as required Type of Role: Perm Ref: PR/005474 As we grow, we would like to bring in a HR expert to join our senior team to help support in the management of our people. As HR Manager you will be up to date on legislation and HR policy to provide the advice required to navigate any HR issues effectively. CMC is a growing management consultancy, delivering change and transformation to our clients across the UK public and private sectors. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for providing HR advice and service to the managers and staff. Accountable for maintaining and implementing HR plans, systems, processes, policies, and procedures. You would be required to collaborate with managers on HR issues and provide HR subject matter expertise in the areas of: workforce planning, recruitment, retention, engagement and analytics and reporting strategy. Implementing HR strategies and associated measures to continuously improve CMC.

• Developing our employee value proposition supporting our overall strategy.
• Providing expert advice on HR matters, including employment law, employee relations, progression, reward and recognition, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
• Maintaining HR policies and procedures.
• Supporting our resourcing team in our recruitment process.
• Overseeing the assessment of training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
• Maintaining our HR related data and recommending continuous improvements to records management and reporting.
• Overseeing and manage a performance appraisal process that drives high performance.
• Reporting to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
• Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
• Assessing the training and development needs and gaps of our staff.
• Bridging management and employee relations by addressing disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, retirements, etc.

CIPD Level 5 Intermediate Diploma in HR Management.

• Proven working experience as a HR Manager or other senior HR role.
• Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and effective actions.
• Strategic thinking and analytical, leadership and management skills.
