Job Description - Human Resources Director

Role: People Operations Partner/ HR Manager Duration: 6 Months Location: Addlestone (only one day per week required in the office, four days working remote) Pay rate: £275 - £331 per day The ideal candidate will have good experience with Collective Consultations. Execution of Business Change Projects:

  • Primarily responsible for leading all aspects of UK collective consultation process including training of line managers, running elections and administering meetings and documentation.
  • Work closely with People Partner Lead on global transformation project ensuring all aspects of administration and due diligence is maintained for all aspects of the project.
  • Maintain a mind-set of continuous improvement to identify opportunities to improve the services provided by HR.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, HR Business Partners and Centres of Excellence. to provide the appropriate level of support required.
  • Work supportively and collaboratively with teams across HR.
  • Maintain a proactive approach, taking the initiative and managing self effectively.
  • Build relationships and trust with key stakeholders.
  • Seek opportunities to continually improve the services provided by HR.
  • Is responsible for delivering a legally compliant HR service in line with identified needs.
  • Will report to the People Partner Cluster Lead and will work closely with others across the broader HR function and directly with the business.

  • IT literate (Intermediate stage) to type/ create and edit reports, trackers etc. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and eLearning and online systems (e.g. LMS, ZINC, TMF etc. databases).Intranet and web.
  • Good written and verbal communications including ability to prepare updates, summaries, emails to employees and managements.

  • Proactively shares knowledge, and adapts approach to build consensus and respect diverse views and cultures.
Developing & Inspiring: · Proactively shares knowledge and best practice and encourages others to develop. Working as One: · Takes personal ownership and acts as a role model of ethics and compliance treating everyone with respect. Experience:
  • Education – Bachelor Degree.
  • Years of working experience: 5+ years.
  • Experience in managing high risk employment-related cases from intake to investigation to resolution.
  • Proven experience function as a natural collaborator who is authentic, transparent and aligns with the Astellas values and code of conduct.
  • Proven success partnering and collaborating with stakeholders’ cross-functionally and at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to exercise sound judgement based on policies, procedures, practices, and risk factors.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to inspire trust and confidence and effectively influence the decision-making process.
  • Self-starter and ability to manage a workload of varying complexity to a high standard
  • Experience across core HR functions (e.g. Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, etc.) with specific experience in HR process design, transaction support and employee administration.
  • Fluent in English and at least one other European language.
  • Continuous Improvement knowledge.
  • Personal computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook.
