Do you have an expertise in teaching pupils on the autistic spectrum?Want to be part of our history as we open our purpose built resource base in September 2024?Following Department for Education approval, Aston Tower is opening a resource base for 16 primary aged pupils on the autistic spectrum with Education, Health and Care plans. We are looking to appoint experienced teachers with a successful background in teaching pupils with autism and who are able to work closely with us to create a provision which achieves excellence for these pupils. The resource base is currently being built, will be well resourced and is attached to our main building. Aston Tower is a very successful two-form entry multi-cultural primary school that serves a community which really values our work. We are very well resourced, have a large and committed staff team, well-behaved, appreciative pupils and highly supportive trustees. The school has a happy and vibrant ethos. The school is set in spacious, attractive and well maintained modern premises with grounds that offer great potential for learning. Have a look at our website to get a flavour of our school. Visits to the school are on Monday 10 June 2024 between 3:00pm to 4:00pm, and Wednesday 12June between 3:00pm to 4:00pm. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including: an enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work. All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references.
