Our client is seeking a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to join their Aberdeen team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage procurement and supply chain initiatives. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in aligning procurement with budgets, improving cost-effectiveness, and ensuring regulatory compliance. As the primary liaison for vendor engagements and contracts, your contribution will be essential in driving operational excellence. Lead all procurement activities pertaining to both trial and business requirements Develop the Procurement Function in support of the strategic business plan Hold regular performance / contract reviews with key vendors Support vendor managers in tracking performance and ensure service is within scope Manage and report on all Procurement activities from budget definition to trial closure Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs Any other tasks requested by the Legal Function and Senior Leadership Team in Aberdeen Perform all job-related tasks in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS) of the company and relevant regulatory and guideline standards. Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline, e.g. supply chain management, logistics or business administration Proven working experience in the Procurement field Proven experience in contract negotiation Strong negotiation and networking Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Access,
