RMS are working for an outstanding automotive client who is a leading provider of Automotive Logistics and Finished Vehicle Compound Handling.

We are recruiting for Compound Drivers to work on ourBrand-New Compound in Grimsby.

Our facility provides vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch and transportation facilities. This is a permanent position where you will be required to carry out all vehicle movements within the site correctly and as efficiently as possible

It is essential that all applicants hold a valid driver’s license with less than 6 penalty points & no DR offences within the last 10 years.

Location: Grimsby

Duties:

• To carry out all vehicle movements within the site.
• To locate and move the correct vehicle to the correct location.
• To pull the correct vehicles for loads, ready for dispatch.
• To comply with the correct parking procedures and site speed limits
• To complete all relevant paperwork and report any discrepancies.
• To carry out storage and maintenance checks.
• To ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.

Pattern of Work:The site operates on a 24 hour basis therefore the ability to work flexibly is essential. Shifts are Predominantly between 7.30am-5pm.

• 37.5 hours across the week.
• This is a Temp to Perm Contract.

Rate of Pay: £10.50 per hour
