Head of CRM

The role

We are actively looking for a CRM specialist who will head up our CRM function for the logistics pillar. This is a brand new role and you will be developing a new department that will oversee the evolution of the European CRM strategy. This role sits within the commercial team and you will be supporting the team in providing insight into the huge amounts of data that we currently hold.

We have recently bought out and merged two businesses so the data sits in a few legacy systems. You will work with the Global CRM team to help define the new CRM database within MS Dynamics and help develop a single source of truth to support the commercial activities of the logistics team. Initially you will be tasked to understand the integrity of the data and provide solutions on how to develop insightful queries from multiple data sources.

As the single CRM is developed you will help define key metrics, work with the commercial team on their queries to support their bid work and eventually build a CRM that will provide key information to help win business. As the importance of this work grows you will be eventually managing a team and define the long term CRM strategy. You will also be tasked with training the wider team around basic queries as well as maintaining the database so that it is always in the best condition.

The person

So who are we looking for?

• Extensive experience of managing and developing the strategic direction of complex CRM systems
• Ideally worked in the logistics, supply chain or related industry
• A consistently curious mind who is eager to learn
• The ability to manage and deliver to multiple deadlines
• Strong project management skills ideally with a project management qualification
• Excellent stakeholder skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
