LOGISTICS COORDINATOR required for an immediate start!

3 month fixed term contract, could be permanent for the right person

Shifts will be rotating: Monday to Friday 6AM-2PM, and 11:15AM- 6PM

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day scheduling of the fleet of 30 vehicles (plus Sub-contractors) operating from the agreed parking locations to meet the demand of the contract. They will ensure all vehicles are utilised efficiently and scrutinise vehicle tracking data to ensure the fleet operates along the specific routes between sites.

Key responsibilities for the logistics coordinator:

• Ensure that delivery points are made aware of planned vehicle movements into their facilities and that access is permitted before vehicle is presented.
• Ensure all driver’s paperwork is submitted on a daily basis and that paperwork is completed accurately, neatly and in full.
• Ensure drivers adhere to their daily procedures and responsibilities.
• Ensure all fleet equipment is presented as scheduled, and whenever else requested by maintenance provider or equivalent.
• Assisting with input of weighbridge data and preparation of Management Reports.
• To support the Admin Team in submitting a weekly summary of all waste delivered in and removed from all sites as per the Contract.
• Maintain records of transactions including weighbridge tickets.
• The individual may, from time to time be required to undertake any other duties require
