Logistics Coordinator

Nu-Staff are working with Safran Seats to support one of their main manufacturing locations based in Newport with the recruitment of Logistics Co-Ordinators. These are ongoing temporary assignments within a world leading environment and requires previous experience working within the logistics/warehousing sector. To co-ordinate the day to day requirements through the ERP system with specific emphasis reducing / fast tracking shortages supply to assembly areas.

• To manage the kits and associated manufacturing orders, travellers and co-ordinate deliveries into the production process. Maximise efficiency and reduce waste (time / effort) and to achieve OTD targets.
• Encourage and participate in continuous improvement activities within the Logistics function.

Ensure business requirements are integrated into the daily logistics activities and prioritise as necessary Take responsibility for component delivery to internal customer including last mile Maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues in accordance with the Company s Health & Safety policy 60 Ph (days regualar and training period) 32 ph (2 shift pattern days and afternoons) 69 ph (Nights regular) Excellent ongoing opportunities available with an employer of choice in the local area.
