Logistics Delivery Director

We have a brand new role for a Transport Analyst to join us at our Packaging facility in Kettering as part of our Sheet Feeding operation. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to continue developing their management and data analysis skills in a FTSE 100 organisation, as well as ensuring that the team and our transport providers adhere to our high safety and quality standards. This would involve daily analysis of our 3rd party logistics providers, ensuring that we are optimising transport operations, reviewing backhaul opportunities & revenue, efficient load building and routing, verifying individual charges per load, identifying opportunities for consolidated deliveries and improved load fill, effective use of sub-contractors and aligning transport costs to pricing within our ERP system. You’ll use your experience and curiosity to find more efficient ways of managing transport and purchasing so that we can continuously improve our financial and customer service. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that the Kettering site team and our transport providers adhere to our high safety standards, with responsibility for day to day activities in the goods in, reel store, and finished good despatch areas.
